BearingTrace doesn't have user accounts, logins, or payments today, so there isn't much personal data to collect yet. This page explains what little there is, and we'll update it before that changes (for example, if accounts or subscriptions are introduced later).
We don't collect account information, passwords, or payment details, because the Site doesn't have any of those features yet.
Contact form submissions are used only to read and respond to your message. Technical/log data is used only for keeping the Site running securely. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
The Site relies on a couple of outside services to operate, and each has its own privacy practices:
Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period after. Hosting logs are retained on whatever schedule our hosting provider uses by default.
BearingTrace isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If you'd like us to delete a message you sent through the Contact page, just let us know through that same page and we'll take care of it.
If this policy changes — for example, when accounts, payments, or analytics are introduced — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
